No shit sherlock section. Seems many people in America are reading the news, seeing what’s going on with the unFairness Doctrine, the massive generational debt er stimulus package, and all the talk of making everyone poor Equality among the masses, that it’s causing people to flock to read or re-read Atlas Shrugged. Even though I haven’t posted much in the last year, I’ve pointed out repeatedly through out this blog that Ayn Rand was prophetic in that book as it relates to the way our country is going.
Now I’ll admit I’m rusty on posting and writing but it hasn’t meant that I haven’t been paying attention to what’s going on. Rather I think it was because there was SO much I wanted to talk about, write about, scream about that I couldn’t find the time in the day to get it all out. Instead of writers block, I had writers traffic jam. Well recently, some wrecks have been towed to the side of the road (good bye John McCains feeble attempt at a campaign), some slow moving cars have sped up (hello Republicans starting to rediscover fiscal conservatism), and now maybe I can or will start writing more.
There will be more writing to come in the days ahead. Some of it will be witty, some will suck, some of it you’ll agree with and some of it will make you think “I’d never say that outloud”. All I can say is that I’m going to try and keep the traffic moving. I’ll leave the 3 readers I have left with this quote from Ayn Rand. Remember is as you listen to our President (and yes he is OUR president) talk about wealth in America.
“If a man proposes to redistribute wealth, he means explicitly and necessarily the wealth is his to distribute. If he proposed it in the name of the government, then the wealth belongs to the government; if in the name of society, then it belongs to society. No one, to my knowledge, did or could define a difference between that proposal and the basic principle of communism.”
