Socialism and the Democrat party
Let us continue on with the study of socialism, and its continued growth in the United States. The recent article on Ole Hillary really hit home to me. When Logan linked me to it, I read the first two paragraphs to my wife. Mind you, she’s not very political, and she doesn’t pay alot of attention to presidential politics. After I read that, she said, “Equal share for everyone!” (A line from Yuri’s Revenge, the soviet war miner says that.) And now when we play, if she’s russian, she says she’s playing ‘Hillary.’
The problem is that in our schools, socialism is taught as a viable alternative to capitalism and other systems of economy. In fact, the actual teaching of economics is so woeful, you have to wonder if its one of those ‘unintentual intentions’ to dumb down enough americans so that the academic elite can then say whatever they want and then add ‘Its for your own good’ and have everyone just believe what they say, simply because they have no clue what it all means.
Socialism doesnt work. Period. Again and again it has been shown that it will collapse. Socialism is the haven of the mediocre and the protection of the lazy. Socialism’s goal is to bring everyone down to the lowest common denominator.
Capitalism has been shown to work. Everywhere a true capitalist economy has been set up, people flourish, and everyone prospers. Capitalism is the simple idea that everyone can rise to greatness, if they just do. If you chose to not be great, you will continue to be medocre or poor. But, if you work hard, you can CREATE wealth. ‘Atlas Shrugged’ basically says the greatest gift to the world the US has given it is the idea that you can create wealth. This is why the US is the greatest nation that has ever exsisted. Even our poor are richer then many of the ‘rich’ of the world. Our poor even own computers, and have more then one TV!
NEVER allow the increasingly communist/socialist left to demean us. We are the greatest. Period. Its because of capitalism that we are what we are. No socialist country could ever rise to even a tenth of our power and wealth. It just cannot happen.
Also, never allow a leftie to use the word ‘fair’. They define the word ‘fair’ as ‘bring down those that create wealth and jobs and make our country great, to the level of the laziest turd that refuses to even work for their own money.’ The only way we can start to combat the increasingly socialist attitudes of this country is to challenge the very ideas that they say are ‘facts.’ Confront them. Tell them they’re wrong. Explain to them that socialism doesnt promote fairness. All it does is promote ignorance and dependence on the government to provide. (Remember, the government doesn’t actually create anything. The government just reallocates exsisting wealth to those that are too lazy to make it themselves. Eventually, there will be more people stealing the wealth than create it, and then our great country will collapse into the ashheap of history.)
