No shit sherlock

Ok, this has to be one of the most anti-climatic articles I’ve read. It’s all about Fred Thompson and when he’s going to announce he’s running. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of FDT running, I truly am. At this point I think Fred might be the only one capable of winning the White House for the conservatives in 2008. However, it’s getting to the point where I’m tired of waiting for the announcment he’s in. Get in the damn water and swim with the sharks or hang up the trunks already.

Fred Thompson will run, advisers say
Fred Dalton Thompson is planning to enter the presidential race over the Fourth of July holiday, announcing that week that he has already raised several million dollars and is being backed by insiders from the past three Republican administrations, Thompson advisers told The Politico.

Ok, great I hope he does announce over the July 4th holiday, but I swear to allah on a koran sitting on a stack of bacon that if he doesn’t announce then he might as well kiss it all goodbye. Seriously, he’s flirted with us enough, shit or get off the pot Fred. I say that with all the respect I can muster. I want Fred to run, I want Newt to run, I want someone other then Guilani/McCain/Romney to run. Dammit, we true Reagan Republicans DESERVE to have someone run who believes what we believe, someone for smaller or at least more efficient government, low taxes, strong military, and some sort of basic values and responsibility in government. I’m just getting impatient waiting.
