Ok, this is just too priceless to ignore. Seem’s Nancy “Starkist” Pelosi has gotten her panties in a bunch over some comments Vice President Dick Cheyney made recently.

WASHINGTON – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday phoned President Bush to air her complaints over Vice President Dick Cheney’s comments that the Congressional Democrats’ plan for Iraq would “validate the Al Qaeda strategy.”

So what exactly did the VP say that got her so upset?

Vice President Dick Cheney on Wednesday harshly criticized Democrats’ attempts to thwart President Bush’s troop buildup in Iraq, saying their approach would “validate the al-Qaida strategy.”

So does the truth hurt Mrs. Speaker? Don’t you remember that Bin Laden called the US, “paper tigers” because you could bloody our noses and we would turn tail? Or that Zawahiri said this:

“Things may develop faster than we imagine,” Ayman al-Zawahri wrote in a letter to his top deputy in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. “The aftermath of the collapse of American power in Vietnam — and how they ran and left their agents — is noteworthy. … We must be ready starting now.”

So let me see here, Pelosi and her lapdog John “Abscam” Murtha, want to pull the troops out of Iraq without attempting the troop surge, or at the very least make funding the troops impossible so that we have no choice, thereby helping Al-qaeda in Iraq but Cheyney isn’t allowed to call them on it? So Mrs. Speaker, you don’t see how this helps the enemy? Can we debate it some? Pelosi also says this (from the linked article):

“You cannot say as the president of the United States, ‘I welcome disagreement in a time of war,’ and then have the vice president of the United States go out of the country and mischaracterize a position of the speaker of the House and in a manner that says that person in that position of authority is acting against the national security of our country,”

I guess only the left can debate the subject eh? It’s ok for Pelosi and Murtha to hamstring our troops, call the President of the United States a liar, and help big business in your own district while screwing small businesses everywhere else with a minimum wage increase but don’t question whether or not their actions help the enemy? Seriously, Mrs. Pelosi, does that jet of yous come with tissues to wipe your tears with?
