Freedom of the Press?

I love my iPod. Nevermind that I dislike Steve Jobs more than Bill gates. I refuse to think about it.

Anyways, I load my iPod every morning from a couple of radio shows I never get a chance to listen to, and listen to them on the way to work, on break, and on the way home. One of these is a silly FM rock-jock morning show. They’re VERY funny, but they usually only put 1-2 short segments on their site. One of these was an interview with John Ziegler.

Who is John Ziegler? Well, the press really doesn’t want you to know, or even hear about him. See, he made a movie called, “Media Malpractice: How Obama got Elected and Palin was Targeted.” Interesting, eh? This is something most of us on the ‘right’ know about and see everyday: the fairness of the liberal press. This movie points out, using very hard to argue with facts and polls of voters, just how badly the press was backing Obama over everyone else. I would suggest you watch the clips on his site. Some of them are seriously depressing. Like the college student looking woman saying “Redistribute wealth? That sounds like a great idea!” Man. I’ll be ordering the movie as soon as I can. (Kids eat too much. heh)

Which leads me to the main point I wanted to make. The press has become more than what was expected of them by our founders. The Press (capital intended) has become the driving political force in this country. More and more people get their information from only the Press, thus the Press controls the flow of information..and more importantly, DISinformation.

The Press has become the true power in the country. THEY control everything. Even the economy! A recession such as we have now can be created and driven by the perception that there’s a recession. I firmly believe that this recession was created, purposfully, by the Press. Why? To get Obama elected. To oust the Republican party from power. All because the electorite really doesn’t try to find out facts. They accept as facts the things they are told. Like Palin is incredibly stupid. That Obama will save us all. That Dubya is a moron.

What can we do? Spread facts. Dont let the Press take over the country. Read for yourself the things going on in the world and around you. The Press is ruining this country.

Economics 101

A couple days ago, I was at work and talking to a couple of my coworkers about the stimulus package. Its amazing how little people understand about simple economics. Its depressing as hell.

All everyone is worried about is getting a check from on high. Not a single person understands where the money is coming from. When I pointed out that the money is being borrowed and will have to be paid back by our children and their children, they either don’t believe it, or even worse don’t care.

What has happened to education in this country? I know everything I have learned about economics has not come from my public education. I had to learn it on my own, and use logic to think things through. Not a single bit of it comes from school. Hell, most people don’t even understand that government spending and raising taxes will make the recession worse, not help it.

I firmly believe that this is not an accident. An ignorant public is exactly what our government wants. This way they can tell you whatever they want and the public, not knowing better, just believes. Joe Public believes that Obama and Nancy Pelosi have their best interests at heart. When in reality, they dont care a bit. All they want is to further their own schemes and socialistic morals.

“Government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem” – Ronald Reagan

There’s a song “Where have all the Cowboys Gone.”  My question is “Where have all the conservatives gone?” Why can’t we get a real conservative to run for President? McCain is a RINO. Dubya wasn’t really a conservative either.

Really, tho, this isn’t the fault of the Republican Party so much as the fault of the voters:

“In a democracy, people get the government they deserve.”

And considering what I’ve seen, we deserve it.

Today’s cup of STFU goes to….

Cup of STFUThe tea drinking British University system. Seems they are going to “reccomend a boycott” anything Israeli due to the “occupation of Palestine”.

UK lecturers support Israel boycott call

Union passes motion calling on members to ‘consider the moral implications of links with Israeli academic institutions;’ Israeli academic: The people behind this motion are working for forces of evil

Yaakov Lappin
Latest Update: 05.30.07, 20:40 / Israel News

Britain’s University and College Union (UCU), comprising of university academics, voted in favor of considering a boycott of Israeli academics and institutions at its conference in Bournemouth on Thursday evening.

Anti-Semitism
‘Israel being ostracized’ / Yaakov Lappin
British-Jewish academic, speaking before boycott vote, says ‘there’s something in the air in the UK, boycott will lead to anti-Semitism’
Full Story
The resolution, passed by 158 votes in favor and 99 against, “notes that Israel’s 40-year occupation has seriously damaged the fabric of Palestinian society through annexation, illegal settlement, collective punishment and restriction of movement… deplores the denial of educational rights for Palestinians by invasions, closures, checkpoints, curfews, and shootings and arrests of teachers, lecturers and students.”

Um, does anyone else see some stupidity here? Let’s take a look at some things.

  • The main country responsible for the RE-creation of Israel (please notice it wasn’t the creation of Israel, rather the granting of the land back for a reformation of the state) was um Britain!
  • Collective punishment? Perhaps but aren’t even the children of the pali-animals taught to hate Israel and want Jews dead? Perhaps since it’s even the women and children bearing weapons against Israel “collective punishment” might be deserved?
  • Restriction of movement? Seriously get a grip, if no Palestinians were walking around Jewish towns with bombs strapped to them maybe movement wouldn’t be restricted?
  • Arrest of teachers? Are these the same teachers using Mickey Mouse looking characters to teach children to hate Jews? On second thought, you’re right they should protest the arrest of these teachers. They shouldn’t be arrested, they should be shot for teaching hate to children.

Now, lets bear this in mind, it’s not an actual boycott, YET, but rather a “reccomendation” to “consulate with members” on whether or not to boycott Israeli academics. There are some words of wisdom coming out of all this, but not from the British side of course *emphasis below is mine*:

Responding to the resolution, Professor Menachem Kellner, Professor of Jewish Thought at Haifa University, said: “I’m deeply disappointed by the failure of truth and justice at this vote.” “I don’t think such a boycott will seriously impact Israeli academia, but I treat it with seriousness because it will affect Jewish organizations abroad,” Kellner added. “The people who organized this boycott are working for the forces of evil. They not working for Palestinians, they are working against Israel,” Kellner declared, adding:

“If there was something there that would actually help Palestinians, I would say they are honest but dumb. But this is just an attempt to defame and delegitimize Israel.”

“This is a sad day for British academia. The boycott resolution is a badge of dishonor,” Kellner said.
I for one am hoping that the Brit’s wise up. Their government has been a staunch ally in the war on terror and it would be a shame to see a swing in their stance start within some of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world. For all those who voted against decency and civilization…this cups for you.

Islamic influence reaching into our universities?

I saw this article over at Atlas Shrugs (my god what a beautiful woman!) and then followed it over to this article at SnappedShot.com about the islamification of George Mason University. Seems the “enlightened leaders” at GMU are going to be installing foot baths for muslims in the university and the islamification of the “quiet meditation room” that is supposed to be for all students. Just that alone should be enough to get everyone in an uproar, but most are quiet about it. Heck, you would think that the ACLU would be in an uproar over this but they are quiet, wonder why? Seems the Muslim Students Association that lead the charge to get this done has some powerful friends!

I had never heard of the MSA so I decided to do a little research into them. On their web page I looked over their FAQ and on the surface there’s nothing too extreme there.

MSA National serves Muslim students during their college and university careers by facilitating their efforts to establish, maintain, and develop chapters of Muslim Student Associations, Unions, Organizations, and Islamic Societies. Emphasis is placed on the learning and well-being of the individual Muslim student, as well as networking and growth of the chapter through sponsorship of educational programs, camps, zonal and annual conferences, and worker training programs. MSA National works with all organizations whose agenda includes a special focus on students and issues of concern to them during their college career. MSA National strives to inform and mobilize students to respond to crises around North America and the world.

However sedate their opening paragraph seemed I wanted to dig a little deeper, something was bothering me. I think it was the tone of the writing or perhaps it was the mention of the ISNA (Islamic Society of North America).
From the MSA FAQ:

In 1983, MSA National gave birth to the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), to be the umbrella of Islamic organizations that sprang from MSA in North America. MSA National maintains continuous affiliation with ISNA. As an affiliate of ISNA, historically, the MSA National President has a seat on the ISNA Majlis Ash-shura. However, beyond this, ISNA does not have any direct involvement in MSA National affairs. In addition, the MSA Annual Continental Conference is held alongside ISNA because it is cost-effective for students to attend with their families and for MSA National to benefit from ISNA’s negotiations for hotel/conference rooms. A students-only summer convention is currently being explored.

I couldn’t for the life of me pinpoint why ISNA was raising a bullshit alarm in my head. So I did a search for ISNA and one of the responses that came up also mentioned one my favorite counter terrorism folks, Steve Emerson. So I clicked away on the article from 2005 and saw this:

And what are the allegedly “false statements” MPAC is claiming I made? That “MPAC told its ‘members not to cooperate with the FBI,’” and that MPAC “are the ones radicalizing their community.” Now let’s analyze those charges by looking at MPAC’s own words.

First, that MPAC has instructed American Muslims not to cooperate with the FBI:

MPAC and its lawyers claim this to be untrue. But at a July 1, 2005 ISNA conference in Dallas, MPAC Executive Director Salam Al-Marayati did just that. Al-Marayati, speaking of the FBI’s terrorism investigation in Lodi and the use of Muslim informants in that case, California, told the assembled crowd of Muslim-Americans, “[c]ounter-terrorism and counter-violence should be defined by us. We should define how an effective counter-terrorism policy should be pursued in this country. So, number one, we reject any effort, notion, suggestion that Muslims should start spying on one another.” Right there, Al-Marayati is instructing Muslim Americans to not even attempt to observe any extremism or terrorist activity in their community, and even if they should observe something troubling, to not inform law enforcement authorities, that the duty owed to the Muslim community by the government is greater than to society at large.

So at an ISNA conference muslims were told not to aid in counter terrorism. Now remember from the MSA FAQ, they were there since it’s “cost effective” to hold their conference with ISNA. This connection alone should raise some questions about the validity of what MSA is doing in our schools, however there are more shady connections then just that one. Let’s follow the money shall we?

Let’s use that nifty resource DiscoverTheNetworks.org and take a look at some of the connections and money trails here shall we? You can find the Discover the networks profile page on MSA here. Let’s look at some of the things there.

  • Offshoots of MSA include the Islamic Medical Association, the Muslim Arab Youth Association, the Association of Muslim Social Scientists, the Islamic Circle of North America, and the Islamic Society of North America.
  • At a March 15, 2003 anti-war rally in San Francisco, MSA representatives manned several booths where they displayed and distributed anti-Israel publications, banners, and placards. Many of these items contained the word “Israel” with the “s” replaced by a swastika; others likened a swastika to the Star of David.
  • In 2003, University of Idaho MSA President Sami Omar Al-Hussayen was ordered deported because he worked for the Islamic Assembly of North America, which has ties to al Qaeda. While on campus, he had sought access to a chemical lab containing nuclear material.
  • A notable former member of MSA is Asan Akbar, an American Muslim extremist who attended the MSA-controlled student mosque at the University of California, Davis. After college, Akbar joined the U.S. Army. In the early hours of March 23, 2003, he intentionally detonated a grenade amidst sleeping members of his 1st Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division stationed in Kuwait — killing two and wounding fifteen.

Ok so they have some bad members and affiliations (there’s more then what I’ve listed, alot more). Let’s look at their connections to some other groups. Click this link to see an awesome grid of who the MSA is connected to (be patient, takes a few minutes to load). One interesting thing you see there is that Chevron-Texaco is a funder for them (I’ll be looking for contact info on who to send complaints too and will post when I find it). Some of the groups there are:

  • The ACLU
  • CAIR
  • Hamas
  • Revolutionary Communist Party
  • NJ Solidarity Activist for the Liberation of Palestine
  • International ANSWR
  • Holy Land Foundation (convicted and closed for it’s funnelling of money to terrorists)
  • Freedom Socialist Party.

All in all there’s enough smoke here to call fire. The MSA seems to be Islams main front to infiltrate and islamify our nations colleges and universities. We need to wake up and stand up against this. Right now our country is undergoing prep work for sharia law, much like Europe underwent over the last 30 years. We need to learn from their lessons. I’ll post more about Chevron-Texaco’s connections to all this as I research it. Until then, stay tuned and stay alert. We have seen the enemy, and he’s all around us.

The protest you don’t know about

There was and still is a series of protests going on at universities across a country and you probably haven’t heard of it.

IRAN: STUDENTS IN LORESTAN OCCUPY UNIVERSITY

Tehran, 27 April (AKI) – Students at the university of Lorestan, in western Iran, are carrying out an all-out protest, following the example of their peers in the capital Tehran, in Babol near the Caspian sea, and Shiraz in the west, who are rallying against new government measures imposing strict new dress codes and opening hours on campus as well as restrictions on political activity. For the past three days about 1,000 students have been occupying the campus.

The deputy dean of the university of Lorestan, Abedin Darvishpour, has also stepped down to express solidarity with the students.

“It is not possible to transform university in military barracks and demand blind obedience from the students,” Darvishpour reportedly told the protesters.

Hear about these series of protests? No I didn’t think so. Wonder why? Because the defeatist media is afraid of painting Iran as an oppressive regime. Whether it’s some mass collective guilt from being too hawkish in the days leading up to the Iraq war, or because they are tools of the Democratic Dhimmi plan who knows. What is known is that they are betraying the news, things like this are important when in the light of the nuclear arms development there. Of course, your saying “the media is biased and we all know it” (that is if your a conservative), if your a liberal you’re going to say that I’m making something out of nothing. However, I’d say to the liberals, “isnt’ this something even you would want to know about? Don’t you get your jollies off at student protests against a religous leader?” Oh wait, that’s only when it’s Bush.
For all the student’s and inhabitants of the ivory towers across America, where is your solidarity? How come you aren’t staging protests here in America to show your brothers in education in Iran that you stand with them? I would of said brothers and sisters, but we know that in Iran women are so oppressed most don’t goto college. Seriously, it’s things like this that make me want to pull an Elvis and shoot my TV, because not even Fox shows things like this, and supposedly they are the tool of the right!
